Horse Information

Lake & Creek Horse Ranch trails are available for people that have horses and want to bring them along when they stay at the ranch.  The ranch is a great place to condition your horse with numerous hills to climb on 350 acres.  There is a creek and lake to splash in or you can take a leisurely stroll through the countryside and marvel at the view.  Rental rate is $25 per horse per night during your stay.  We use a specific kind of shavings for the stalls and prefer that no outside shavings be brought to the ranch.  For each horse that stays with us there will be a flat up front fee of $40 to clean and re-shave the stall that your horse will be using during their stay. The 7 stall horse stable is connected to the ranch house.  The $25 rental rate provides you with one stall per horse, dry storage room for your hay, tack stand to store your tack on, access to wash area, access to one of two small paddocks out the backdoor of the stalls, a round pen and an arena.  The round pen and the arena are in the pasture directly behind the stalls and paddocks.  During your stay the horses that usually reside in the front pasture with the round pen and the arena will be moved temporarily to the back pasture as to minimize contact between the herd and your horses.  We have hay and feed areas in the front pasture and kindly request that you do not let your horses roam freely in the front pasture, they must be kept in either the stalls or the paddocks.  If you wish to use the round pen or arena during your stay, we ask that your halter your horse and walk them out to the round pen and the arena.  A waiver will need to be signed by each individual that plans to ride before bringing your horses to the ranch. A waiver will be provided to you when you book your reservation.
